How to find the right size helmet

  • Measure your head circumference at the widest point (above the ears) to find the right size
  • If you don't have a tape measure to hand, take a piece of string or ribbon and hold the distance to a ruler
  • Once you have put the helmet on and fastened it, shake your head vigorously to check whether the helmet is slipping. If it does, it is too big
  • Test whether you can get under the helmet with 2 fingers. If so, the helmet is too big
  • If you wear glasses, be sure to test the helmet with glasses
  • Wear the helmet a little before your first ride. If you get a headache, the helmet is probably too small
